A Method of Soil Moisture Content Estimation at Various Soil Organic Matter Conditions Based on Soil Reflectance

Soil moisture is one of the most important components all soil properties affecting global hydrologic cycle. Optical remote sensing technology main parts estimation. In this study, we promote a moisture-estimating method with applications regarding various organic matters. The results indicate that matter had significant spectral feature at wavelengths larger than 900 nm. existence would lead to darker soil, and was similar moisture. Meanwhile, effect on its reflectance overlaps reflected spectrum. This can underestimation content, an MRE 21.87%. To reduce effect, absorption considered based Lambert–Beer law. Then, established SMCg-estimating model radiative transform theory while considering matter. showed be effectively reduced accuracy estimation increased, decreased from 21.87% 6.53%.
